I do not, I do NOT appreciate Indian!Harry - I hate to have to qualify my opinion with this all the time but: I'm Indian, before you call me a racist or an internalised racist because my not falling in line with American shallowness is intolerable for you.Īnyway, as a "desi (pronounced "deh-zi" like Desi Lydic of course)" I gotta say tHaNkS fOr tHe DiVeRsiTy ReP qween!!1 we stan!! - and while this story doesn't focus too much on that whole unnecessary addition to Harry's super-specialness (nightmare flashbacks to shanastoryteller (I just had a full-body shiver happen in real life)) it just takes me out of the story to the point that I might as well not be reading a Harry Potter story at all. I came back to this story after a few weeks and I think my views have changed a bit (a lot).
